FRIDAY WEATHER: Very cold in parts of the interior and a warning for wind & waves

From the weekend it should be fine and cool, except along the east coast of the country where it will be partly cloudy with isolated showers possible on Saturday.

Warnings from the SA Weather Service:

A. level 2 warning for damaging winds and waves leading to difficulty in navigation, localised disruption of small harbours and/or ports for a short period of time, and small vessels at risk of taking on water and capsizing in locality between KwaDukuza and Kosi Bay.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Matzikama municipality of the Western Cape.

Cloudy with morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cold. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL
Fine to partly cloudy and cool to cold with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly but strong north of Mtunzini.
