Very cold and wet conditions with light snowfall expected to set in from Wednesday evening in places over Eastern Cape, southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, southern Free State as well as along the Lesotho borders with the passage of the cut-off-low weather system, clearing from the west by Thursday.
Warnings from the SA Weather Service:
A. level 2 warning for damaging winds and waves leading to difficulty in navigation, localised disruption of small harbours and/or ports for a short period of time, and small vessels at risk of taking on water and capsizing in a locality are expected between KwaDukuza and Kosi Bay.

Partly cloudy and cool.
MPUMALANGA
Morning frost in places, otherwise fine and cool becoming cloudy along the escarpment and Lowveld with isolated rain and showers in the afternoon.
LIMPOPO
Fine and cool to warm. It will become partly cloudy over the central and eastern parts from late afternoon.
NORTH-WEST
Partly cloudy in the south at first, otherwise fine and cool.
THE FREE STATE
Cloudy with morning fog patches over the central parts, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and thundershowers over the eastern parts in the morning.
THE NORTHERN CAPE
Partly cloudy in the south-eastern parts, otherwise fine and cold to cool. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly to south-easterly.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly along the south coast, becoming strong from afternoon, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, reaching strong along the south-west coast.

Cloudy with morning fog and frost in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cold, but fine and cool in places. The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming light to moderate easterly in the afternoon.
THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy in places, otherwise cloudy and cold to very cold with morning fog and frost, with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southwesterly, becoming light to moderate southerly in the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Cloudy and cold to cool with scattered showers and rain in the north, otherwise isolated except in the south-west. The wind along the coast will be the wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly, reaching strong in the north at times.
