Warnings from the SA Weather Service:
A. level 2 warning for damaging winds and waves resulting in localised disruption of small harbours and ports, difficulty in navigation and localised damage to infrastructure and settlements along the coast between Port Edward and Richards Bay.
B. level 2 warning for damaging winds leading to localised damage to settlements and localised problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes due to cross winds on exposed high-level roads over the Namakwa District Municipality in the Northern Cape and the central Karoo District municipality in the Western Cape.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the western parts of Northern Cape, north-eastern parts of Western Cape and the western parts of Eastern Cape.

NORTH-WEST
Fine in the west, otherwise partly and cool to warm.
THE FREE STATE
Morning fog over the extreme east, fine and cool to warm.
THE NORTHERN CAPE
Morning fog along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm. It will be windy over the western and central parts. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly.
THE WESTERN CAPE
Morning fog along the west coast, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot in places over the West Coast and Central Karoo districts. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly to westerly along the south-western and southern coast until the afternoon, otherwise moderate south-easterly to southerly. It will become light and variable along the south coast from the afternoon.
THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in in the south-east. It will be windy in the west. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly east of Cape St Francis, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog along the Wild Coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, but light and variable in places in the morning and evening.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise fine and cool to warm. It will be partly cloudy in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly, reaching strong south of Richards Bay from the afternoon.
