Snow possible for Lesotho and parts of South Africa

Snowfall looking possible for a number of regions in South Africa as well as Lesotho between Friday and Sunday this week, but we've seen a significant reduction in the quantity of snow as the freezing level has increased from earlier forecasts.

The top of Sani Pass may be challenging to negotiate by either Friday or Saturday, according to current data.

The map indicates where SnowReportSA is seeing the possibility of snow, but it may not fall in all of the areas shown on the map. As with any forecast of any kind (temperature, clouds, rain, wind), what eventually happens may or may not be similar to the forecast.
