Weekly dam level update for South Africa, Lesotho and eSwatini – 11 November 202511 November 2025By Staff Writer
Provinces in the country have overall dam levels well above last year, except for the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape. Water was released from the Clanwilliam Dam on the west coast earlier in the season in order to do construction work on the wall. Dam levels according to the 10 Nov update: Gauteng Total – 100.3% Free State Total – 95.7% KwaZulu-Natal Total – 87.7% Mpumalanga Total – 93.1% Northern Cape Total – 86.7% North West Total – 89.3% Western Cape Total – 77.6% Limpopo Total – 80% Eastern Cape Total – 75.3% Overall dam levels in North West are 32.6% more than at the same time last year, with the Free State at 22.6% more and Gauteng at 15.7% more.
