Morning fog can be expected in a few places.
Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Saturday:
A. level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms resulting in heavy downpours leading to flooding of susceptible roads, settlements, low-lying bridges/areas, strong damaging winds and hail over the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape.
B. level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms resulting in heavy downpours leading to localised flooding of susceptible roads, low-lying areas and bridges as well as strong damaging winds, excessive lightning and hail over the eastern cape excluding the extreme south-west and south-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kareeberg and Dawid Kruiper Local Municipalities of the Northern Cape, as well as Ulundi and Nkandla Local Municipalities of KwaZulu-Natal.

GAUTENG
Hot in the north, otherwise fine and warm becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
MPUMALANGA
Morning fog patches in the Lowveld and escarpment, otherwise fine and warm becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
LIMPOPO
Cloudy in the east at first, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
NORTH-WEST
Partly cloudy and hot.
THE FREE STATE
Cloudy with morning fog patches at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the extreme north.
THE NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy with mist over the western parts in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south-westerly.
THE WESTERN CAPE
Fine over the central interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot but cool along the south coast. It will be very hot in places over the eastern parts. Isolated rain is expected along the south coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon, but showers and thundershowers are expected over the north-eastern parts from the evening. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to north-easterly in the morning along the south coast, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy in the east at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated along the coast east of Jeffrey's Bay. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-easterly, becoming south-westerly from the west in the afternoon.
THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be light southerly in the north at first, otherwise light to moderate north-easterly, freshening from the south in the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in places in the north. Scattered showers and thundershowers in the west and south, otherwise isolated except in the extreme north-east. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly to northerly north of Richards Bay, otherwise light to moderate south-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly from late morning.
