Some morning fog can be expected in places on Monday.
Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Monday:
A. level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms leading to localized flooding of susceptible roads, settlements, low-lying bridges/areas and localized damage to infrastructure, due to heavy downpours and strong damaging winds over parts of the Northern Cape, North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and the Free State as per the updated map.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kai !Garib local municipality of the Northern Cape.

NORTH-WEST

THE NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy at first along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly but strong along the south-west and west coast.
THE WESTERN CAPE
Cloudy to partly cloudy along the south coast and eastern interior at first, otherwise fine and warm but hot to very hot over interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly but light and variable along the south coast.
THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the extreme north. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-easterly.
THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm with isolated interior thunderstorms over the interior and Wild Coast, but scattered along the Drakensberg. The wind along the coast will be light west to north-west, becoming moderate easterly in the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to north-easterly becoming fresh in the afternoon.
