From Monday it should be partly cloudy over the central and eastern parts of the country with isolated showers and thundershowers possible by the afternoon. Extremely hot conditions, with daytime temperatures reaching 40°C and above, are expected in parts of the Kamiesberg Municipality of the Northern Cape and the interior of the West Coast District of the Western Cape. Hot to very hot and uncomfortable conditions, with daytime temperatures in the mid to high 30s, are expected in places over the interior of the Western Cape and the Namakwa District of the Northern Cape. Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Monday: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over the Northern Cape, the northern parts of the Western Cape as well as in places over the interior of the Eastern Cape. Regional forecasts from the SA Weather Service for Monday: GAUTENG Partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers by the afternoon.
