Warnings from the SA Weather Service:

A. level 2 warning for damaging winds and waves resulting in localised disruption of small harbours and ports, difficulty in navigation and localised damage to infrastructure and settlements along the coast between Port Shepston and Richards Bay.

B. level 2 warning for damaging interior winds leading to localised damage to settlements and localised problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes due to cross winds on exposed high-level roads over the central parts (upper and lower Karoo) and Namakwa interior of the Northern Cape.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over central parts of Northern Cape, Khai-Ma, Hantam and Beaufort West municipalities of the Western Cape as well as Dr Beyers Naude LM, Blue Crane Route, Raymond Mhlaba, Amahlathi, Enoch Mgijima and Inxuba Yethemba Local municipalities of the Eastern Cape.

THE NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy in the west, with morning fog over the extreme north-western parts, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot. It will be wind over the central parts. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly to southerly.

THE WESTERN CAPE
Morning fog along the south coast and adjacent interior, otherwise cloudy and cool, but warm in the north-east. Isolated showers and rain is expected, except in the far north-western parts but scattered along the south coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the south coast in the morning, otherwise fresh to strong south to south-westerly.

THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm to hot, becoming cloudy in the south in the afternoon with isolated showers and rain, except in the north but scattered along the west coast. The wind along the coast will be light northerly at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.

THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm to hot, but cool in places in the north. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly in the south by the afternoon, spreading to the east in the evening.

KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly, becoming strong at times.
