From Friday it should be partly cloudy and cool conditions over the eastern parts of the country with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers. Otherwise, fine and warm to hot.
Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Friday:
A. level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours leading to localised flooding of roads, bridges and low-lying areas as well as damaging winds, excessive lightning and hail, resulting in and damage to infrastructure and settlements over Gauteng except the extreme southern parts, southern Mpumalanga except the extreme south-western parts, central and eastern parts of the North West, the extreme south-western parts in Limpopo as well as the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Masilonyana Local Municipality in the Free State.

GAUTENG
Partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
MPUMALANGA
Cloudy in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers over the Highveld and escarpment areas.
LIMPOPO
Cloudy in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers in the southwest, otherwise isolated, except for the extreme south-east.
NORTH-WEST
Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the west except in the extreme south-western parts.
THE FREE STATE
Morning fog patches over the extreme eastern parts and along the Lesotho border, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the central and the eastern parts.
6.NORTHERN CAPE
Partly cloudy in the southern parts in the morning, and in the extreme east in the afternoon, otherwise fine and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly.
THE WESTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy in the eastern parts, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but cool in places along the south and south-west coast. The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the south coast, otherwise fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly, becoming south-westerly along the southwest coast from the afternoon.
THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming fine in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southwesterly, becoming light and variable in the afternoon.
THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain but scattered in the east. The wind along the coast will be light and variable.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the extreme north-east. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to north-easterly.
