Fine in the western interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to but very hot to extremely hot in places, with isolated to scattered showers and rain in the south and central parts but widespread along the south-east coast on Sunday.

It will be cold along the east and south coast of South Africa.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over eastern parts of Northern Cape, southern parts of North West, in places over Free State, north-eastern parts of the Eastern Cape, western parts of KwaZulu-Natal and south-west parts of Gauteng as well as the southern parts of Limpopo.

LIMPOPO

NORTH-WEST
Fine in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme west.

THE FREE STATE
Fine in the extreme east, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme south-west.

THE NORTHERN CAPE
Partly cloudy over the eastern parts with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the extreme east, otherwise fine and cool to warm but cold in the extreme south-west. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly.

THE WESTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain over the southern and south-western parts. It will be cloudy and cold along the south coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly.

THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cold in the south-west, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered showers and rain in the south. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, reaching strong in places.

THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog in places south of the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly, reaching strong in places from the afternoon.

KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot in places in the north. It will become partly cloudy in the south and south-west by afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme south. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly becoming moderate south-westerly from the south by late morning, spreading to the north by evening.
