Partly cloudy and very cold to cold but cool to warm in places on Friday, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers.

From Saturday it should be fine over the central and the western interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and rain in the east and south.

On Sunday it should be partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and rain in the eastern and southern parts of the country. Light snowfall is possible over the mountain peaks of the Eastern Cape. Isolated showers and rain are expected in the north-western parts of South Africa on Monday.

level 2 warning for damaging waves leading to difficulty in navigation, localised disruption of harbours/ports and localised disruptions to beachfront activities south of Durban, from afternoon subsiding by Saturday midnight.

Morning fog patches over the south-western interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east. It will be cold in the south. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly.

7. WESTERN CAPE
Cloudy and cold along the coast and adjacent interior with light rain in the south-west in the morning spreading along the south coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south-westerly becoming strong along the south coast.

Cloudy and cold with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south. The wind along the coast will be strong south-westerly.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL
Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be warm in the extreme north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, But north-westerly in the north.
