A cut-off low pressure system is expected over the western parts of the country and could result in heavy rain in some areas until Tuesday.

Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Tuesday:

A. level 2 warning for disruptive rainfall over parts of the Eastern Cape, as per the map.

B. level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms over parts of KwaZulu-Natal, as per the map.

C. level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms over parts of the Eastern Cape, the Northern Cape, the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal as per the map.

Cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

MPUMALANGA
Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the north-eastern parts.

LIMPOPO
Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the Western Bushveld.

NORTH-WEST
Cloudy, becoming partly cloudy and warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated over the extreme north-eastern parts.

THE FREE STATE

THE NORTHERN CAPE

THE WESTERN CAPE

KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and cool to warm but hot in the extreme north-east. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly.
