Fine and cool to warm conditions are expected with possible damaging interior winds along the west coast of the Northern Cape on Friday, according to the SA Weather Service (SAWS). Warnings from the SAWS for Friday: A. level 2 warning for damaging winds in parts of the Northern Cape. Regional forecasts from SAWS for Friday: 1. GAUTENG Morning fog in places, otherwise fine and cool. The expected UVB sunburn index: Low 2. MPUMALANGA Morning fog over the highveld, otherwise fine and cool but warm in places over the Lowveld. 3. LIMPOPO Morning fog in places in the south, otherwise fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the extreme north-east. 4. NORTH WEST PROVINCE Fine and cool. 5. FREE STATE Cloudy in the east at first, otherwise fine and cool. 6. NORTHERN CAPE Fine and cool to warm, but windy over the north-western interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly to easterly. 7. WESTERN CAPE Morning fog over the southern and south-western parts, otherwise fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly along the south west coast. The expected UVB sunburn index: Low 8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE Morning fog in the south, otherwise fine and cool. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming north-easterly in the afternoon. 9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE Morning fog in the north, otherwise fine and cold to cool. The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly in the morning, otherwise south-easterly, becoming north-easterly from the evening. 10. KWAZULU-NATAL Morning fog in the central and western interior, otherwise fine and cool to cold. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to north-westerly south of Richards Bay, otherwise south-westerly, becoming light easterly to north-easterly in the afternoon.
