A mostly uneventful weather day on Thursday after the storm that rolled in this the week and brought rain and snow to the country.

Warnings from the SAWS for Thursday:

A. level 2 warning for damaging waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea, localised disruption of harbours/ports and localised disruptions to beachfront activities are expected between Cape Agulhas and Kosi Bay.

Morning fog patches over the western interior, otherwise fine and cool to cold. It will be partly cloudy in the south. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly but light to moderate south-westerly along the south coast.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy with isolated morning showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise fine and cool, but cold in places over the interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly, becoming south-westerly in the afternoon.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise fine and cold to cool. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL
Partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly, becoming light to moderate by the late afternoon in the south. It will become moderate to fresh south-easterly north of Richards Bay in the afternoon.
