Light rain and showers in Limpopo, otherwise isolated to scattered showers and rain over the central and southern parts due to the passage of a cold-front. Regional forecasts from the SA Weather Service for Monday: 1. GAUTENG Fine in the north at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool. The expected UVB sunburn index: Moderate 2. MPUMALANGA Fine, becoming partly cloudy and cold to cool by the afternoon. It will be warm in places in the Lowveld. 3. LIMPOPO Fine, becoming partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy in the north with drizzle in places in the north-east. It will be warm in places in the Lowveld. 4. NORTH-WEST Windy in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and cool. 5. FREE STATE Partly cloudy and cold to cool, with isolated thundershowers in the extreme west where it will be windy. 6. NORTHERN CAPE Cloudy along the coast at first, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and cold to cool with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the west. It will be warm in the north. The wind along the coast will be moderate south to south-easterly becoming fresh from the afternoon. 7. WESTERN CAPE Cloudy and cold with light rain in the extreme south-west at first, spreading along the south coast by afternoon, otherwise partly cloudy and cool. The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the west coast at first becoming moderate south-easterly from the afternoon otherwise moderate north-westerly. The expected UVB sunburn index: Low 8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE Partly cloudy in the north-west, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, reaching strong in places. It will become fresh to strong southerly from late afternoon. 9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE Fine in the east at first, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the south-west. Light snow is expected over the north-eastern high ground from the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, but light to moderate north-westerly in the north during the morning. It will become fresh to strong southerly at night. 10. KWAZULU-NATAL Morning fog patches in the north, otherwise fine and cool but warm in the east, becoming partly cloudy from the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly in the morning, otherwise light to moderate north-easterly but fresh in the north, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly in the south, spreading to Cape St. Lucia by the evening.
