Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Tuesday:

A. level 2 warning for damaging interior winds leading to localised damage of informal settlements, as well as risk of widespread runaway fires over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, as well as the central and western parts of both the Free State and North West province.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over the central parts of South Africa.

MPUMALANGA
Cloudy in the central and eastern in the morning with morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places over the Lowveld.

Cloudy in the morning with morning fog patches over the central and southern parts, otherwise fine and warm.

NORTH-WEST
Fine and warm to hot.

THE FREE STATE
Fine, windy and warm to hot.

THE NORTHERN CAPE
Morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise fine, windy and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the morning, otherwise moderate southerly.

THE WESTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy over the southern parts, otherwise fine, windy and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly along the west coast, otherwise moderate to fresh northerly to north-westerly, reaching strong south of Cape Point at times.

Morning fog patches in places, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be moderate westerly, becoming fresh to strong in the evening.

Morning fog patches in places, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot, but cool along the coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, reaching strong at times.

KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot over the interior in the morning. It will be cool in places. The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming fresh in places by midday.
