Morning fog can be expected in many parts of the country.
Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Thursday:
A. level 1 warning for damaging winds leading to localized problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes and damage to settlements and temporary structures over the southeastern parts of Northern Cape.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central parts of the Northern Cape.

GAUTENG
Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
MPUMALANGA
Morning fog patches over the Highveld, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers.
LIMPOPO
Morning fog patches over the central parts, otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south.
NORTH WEST
Morning fog patches in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme east.
THE FREE STATE
Morning fog patches in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme east.
THE NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior in the morning with fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers over the central interior. It will be windy over the western interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-westerly.
THE WESTERN CAPE
Cloudy over the western and south-western parts with morning fog, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the east but scattered in the north-east where it will be hot to very hot. A chance of light rain is expected over the south-western in the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-westerly reaching strong along the south-west coast but moderate to fresh easterly along the south coast.
THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly, becoming strong from mid-afternoon.
THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly at first, becoming moderate to fresh easterly, but north-easterly in the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the north in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly becoming south-easterly from mid-day.
