From Wednesday partly cloudy and warm to hot conditions can be expected with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers possible over the central and eastern parts of the country from the afternoon.
Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Wednesday:
A. level 1 warning for severe thunderstorms associated with large amount of small hail, excessive lightning, heavy downpours leading localised flooding of susceptible roads, settlements, as well as low-lying bridges/areas over Ubuntu, Emthanjeni, Umsobomvu, Renosterbergh, Thembelihle and Siyathemba Local Municipalities in the Northern Cape Province, as well as Dr Beyers Naude, Blue Crane Route and Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipalities in the Eastern Cape Province.

MPUMALANGA
Fine in the Lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south-east.

NORTH-WEST
Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the west.
