Isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in places across the country on Saturday, according to the SA Weather Service.

Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Friday:

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Cederberg, Bergrivier and Matzikama municipalities of the Western Cape.

1. GAUTENG
Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB sunburn index: High

2. MPUMALANGA
Cloudy and cool with rain along the escarpment in the morning and isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon, except in the Lowveld.

3. LIMPOPO
Cloudy and cool to warm with rain along the southern escarpment in the morning, and isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon except in the Lowveld.

4. NORTH WEST PROVINCE
Morning fog patches in the west, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

5. FREE STATE
Morning fog patches in places, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

6. NORTHERN CAPE
Fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the east, with isolated showers and thundershowers and morning fog patches in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-westerly.

7. WESTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy in the north-east in the morning, otherwise fine and cool to warm but hot over the western interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog in places, otherwise fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be Light north-easterly in the morning, becoming moderate to fresh easterly.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog in places, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with a chance of light rain along the wild coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northeasterly.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches over the central interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers rain. It will be warm in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly.
