A. level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours, lightning, hail, and damaging winds resulting in localised flooding and damage to settlements and infrastructure are expected over the central parts of the Northern Cape, the southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal as well as central parts of Mpumalanga.

MPUMALANGA
Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered along the escarpment and eastern Highveld.

LIMPOPO
Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central and southern parts.

NORTH-WEST
Cloudy with morning fog in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

THE FREE STATE
Morning fog patches otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

THE NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy with morning fog patches in the east, otherwise fine and warm but partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers over the central parts, but scattered in the east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

THE WESTERN CAPE
Fine and cool to warm in the west and south-western parts, but partly cloudy to cloudy and warm in the east, with isolated showers and thundershowers over the northeastern parts. The wind along the coast will be fresh south-easterly along the west coast, but light and variable along the south-west and southern parts.

THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy becoming partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers over the interior to the east of Willowmore, but scattered in the north. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to south-easterly.

THE EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy becoming partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the north-west and along the Wild Coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming strong northeasterly in the afternoon.

KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning and evening fog in places over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly becoming easterly to north-easterly.
