Isolated showers should be expected along the east coast of South Africa on Tuesday, otherwise fine and cold to cool but warm in places in the north, according to the SA Weather Service. From Wednesday it should be fine and cold to cool but warm in places, becoming partly cloudy with isolated to scattered showers and rain on Thursday, except in the east. Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Tuesday: none Regional forecasts from the SA Weather Service for Tuesday: 1. GAUTENG Fine and cool. The expected UVB sunburn index: High 2. MPUMALANGA Fine and cool, but warm in the Lowveld. 3. LIMPOPO Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the northern part. 4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE Fine and cool. It will be windy in the west. 5. FREE STATE Fine, windy and cool, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. 6. NORTHERN CAPE Morning fog patches over the western interior, otherwise fine and cool to cold, but warm in places in the north-east. It will be windy in places in the east. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly. 7. WESTERN CAPE Cloudy with drizzle over the Cape Peninsula including Cape Town in the morning, otherwise fine to partly cloudy and cool to cold. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly along the west coast, but light to moderate north-westerly along the south-west and south coasts. The expected UVB sunburn index: Low 8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to cold, becoming fine in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, but south-westerly in the afternoon. 9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE Partly cloudy and cold, but cloudy and cool with morning fog in places south of the escarpment. A chance of light rain and showers are expected in places along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly north of Mazeppa Bay in the early morning, otherwise light to moderate south-westerly, becoming south-easterly from late afternoon. 10. KWAZULU-NATAL Partly cloudy with morning fog in places in the east, otherwise fine and cool but warm in the extreme north-east. Isolated showers and rain are expected in the extreme south coast. The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the north at first and in the south from late afternoon, otherwise light to moderate northerly to north-westerly.
