Fine and cool to warm becoming partly cloudy in places in the east, but a heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected over the Richtersveld Municipality of the Northern Cape until Friday according to the SA Weather Service.

Warnings from the SAWS for Tuesday:

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Richtersveld and Nama Khoi Municipalities of the Northern Cape.

Morning fog patches and frost in places in the south, otherwise fine and cool.

2. MPUMALANGA
Morning fog along the escarpment and in places over the Highveld, otherwise fine and cool, but partly cloudy and warm in the Lowveld.

Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy, except in the south.
