Partly cloudy and cool to warm conditions are expected on Tuesday with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers over the central and eastern parts of the country.

1. GAUTENG
Fine in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.
The expected UVB sunburn index: High

2. MPUMALANGA
Cloudy with morning fog over the Highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with morning drizzle along the escarpment. It will be warm in places in the Lowveld.

3. LIMPOPO
Morning fog patches in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool. It will be cloudy with drizzle in the north-east and along the escarpment.

4. NORTH-WEST
Partly cloudy and cool. It will be windy in the west.

5. FREE STATE
Fine and cool, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme west. It will be windy in the extreme west.

6. NORTHERN CAPE
Partly cloudy, windy and cool to warm, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers. It will be cold in places along the coast and high-lying areas. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly, becoming fresh in the north.

7. WESTERN CAPE
Morning fog in places in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cold in the extreme south-west. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly in the south in the morning, otherwise southerly to south-easterly.

Fine and cool, becoming cloudy in the north with isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly, becoming moderate north-easterly in the afternoon.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL
Partly cloudy with morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-easterly, reaching fresh in places in the afternoon.
