Partly cloudy and warm to cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers expected over the central and eastern parts of the country, as well as along the coastal areas on Thursday.

From Friday it should be partly cloudy and hot to warm, but it will be cool in places in the south with isolated to scattered rain and showers along the coastal areas and the southern parts of South Africa.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Northern Cape and the western parts of both Free State and North West, as well as north-eastern KwaZulu-Natal.

Morning fog in places, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and rain in the south and west. It will be cloudy in the south-west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly, but light to moderate north-westerly along the west coast.
