Snow fell in the Eastern Cape, Lesotho and on the Drakensberg this weekend

A fair amount of snow fell in the Eastern Cape, Lesotho and the Drakensberg over the last few days and while much of it has melted there is still snow visible on Sunday. No more snow is expected to fall this weekend.

There is no low-level snow in the Drakensberg but the snow on the mountains is visible from the towns below. The only snow that can be accessed by normal vehicles is in Lesotho.

You can get a COVID test at the SA border post at Sani Pass for R300.
