More snowfall possible for Lesotho to start the week

Snowfall is possible in Lesotho from late on Monday and into Tuesday this week.

Light snowfall is possible for the high ground in areas marked on the map.

Over 10cm of snow is possible in the areas marked in purple on the map, including Afriski Mountain Resort.

Because the freezing level is quite high what may fall could be anything from a mix of rain, snow, sleet or snow pellets and it may melt quickly or right away rather than accummulating on the ground in most areas.
