[update] Light snow possible this weekend

Light snowfall is possible across parts of South Africa and Lesotho from Saturday, with low-level snow possible in some places. Snow is no longer looking likely for Namibia.

SnowReportSA has seen a signifcant reduction on moisture levels since our previous forecast, but light snow is still possible in parts of the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.

In many areas the low-level snow is expected to be very light and may not even settle on the ground, but between 5cm and 10cm is possible for higher elevations.

The forecast may be updated in the coming days to reflect changes to the data.
