The best snow photos from the Eastern Cape, Lesotho and the Drakensberg

A large amount of snow fell across the Eastern Cape, Lesotho and the Drakensberg at the beginning of June 2021.

Driving in snow, even if it's very light, is very challenging and it is easy to lose control of the vehicle so slow down and keep a significant distance behind other cars.

Be sure to take warm blankets or sleeping bags and lots of food and water in the vehicle with you in case you get stuck.

If you do encounter snow along the way, please respect private property and especially farm fences. Farming is challenging enough without having to deal with damage from people chasing snow.
