A dry and warm Tuesday but then more rain rolls in from Wednesday

Fine and warm conditions are expected on Tuesday, with partly cloudy skies along the east coast as well as the south western interior.

Isolated showers are expected along the south coast of the country by the evening on Wednesday.

Upcoming warnings from the SA Weather Service (SAWS):

A. yellow level 1 warning for damaging winds over the south-eastern areas of the Northern Cape on Wednesday.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and northern parts of the Northern Cape Province as well as the north eastern parts of the Western Cape and the western half of the Eastern Cape on Tuesday.

Morning fog over the Highveld, otherwise fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the east.

THE NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Fine, and warm.

THE NORTHERN CAPE
Partly cloudy along the coast with morning fog otherwise, fine and warm to hot, with windy conditions over the southern parts. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly.

THE WESTERN CAPE
Morning fog patches along the west coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot in places in the interior. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, but moderate north-westerly in the south-west. The expected UVB sunburn index: Moderate

THE WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Fine and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon, but cloudy along the coast. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to Fresh north-easterly, becoming south-westerly by late morning.

Morning fog patches south of the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the west in the evening. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north- easterly, becoming moderate south-westerly in the south by late evening.
