  • FORECAST:
  • Light flurries possible over high peaks of Western Cape and isolated spots of Eastern Cape, starting 25th Sept extending into Tuesday morning, Monday mid-morning

Updated Snow Forecast: 13-15 May 2-17

Good morning Snow Reporters we have already been lucky enough to receive some lovely snow over the KZN and Eastern Cape Drakensberg as well as the Lesotho mountains yesterday. This morning we have seen continued snowfall in the Sani Pass region and should see more in this area on and off throughout the day. Snowfalls in the KZN Midlands (Nottingham Road) are NOT likely this weekend although we are seeing light flurries possible in certain places such as Matatiele and Underberg. Snowfalls over the EC Drakensberg, the KZN Drakensberg and Lesotho are likely to continue into Sunday evening and Monday morning at this stage, and the Drakensberg mountains should be lovely and white. Please send us all your snow photos and remember to stay safe and warm this weekend! Cape Union Mart
