Snowvember didn’t arrive as we thought it might, but it seems that we’re getting some snow in the Drakensberg in December again this year. Up to 20cm of snow looks likely to fall on the high peaks from Sunday night through Monday in the central and southern Drakensberg, including at Black Mountain further inland from Sani Pass. The freezing level is still quite high though, and any change in this could result in less or even no snow falling in the end.
We will post an update tomorrow if there are any changes in the data, but if things don’t change then we do expect some visible snow on Monday.
