We are expecting a couple of light snowfalls over the next couple of days. Tonight we might see a light fall (2cm) on Matroosberg in the Western Cape. As the highest peak in the area, it will probably be the only mountain to get any snow, with no snow expected elsewhere in the province. At the same time tonight, through the night and into tomorrow morning, we could see some light snowfalls over the Eastern Cape Drakensberg with Ben Macdhui (the highest peak in the Eastern Cape Drakensberg) expecting between 6 and 10cm on the top. During Tuesday, we are seeing light snow for many areas in Lesotho from South to North as indicated on the map, but we are not expecting any heavy falls. All falls in Lesotho are expected to be between 1cm and 5cm at this stage. Please keep warm, and stay safe!
