The next cold front is on it’s way to the Western Cape, due to make landfall late Thursday night into early Friday morning when we should see the first bit of snow (16th September 2016). Sorry SnowReporters, the snow we expected for KZN midlands on Monday is no longer visible on the forecast maps. It appears as if the cold front will dissipate significantly before reaching the eastern parts of the country. We are still expecting the cold front to make landfall in the Cape tomorrow morning, bringing with it some snow over the mountains and possibly some lower lying regions of the Western Cape.
